Home Health Aides (HHAs) provide essential care to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities. They support clients of all ages with personal care needs and help monitor basic health conditions to ensure overall well-being. To work as an HHA, individuals must hold an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate.

This comprehensive 40-hour program is designed for currently certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who wish to broaden their scope of practice into home care and home health agency settings. The course includes 20 hours of classroom instruction and 20 hours of supervised clinical training. Upon successful completion, students will receive a skill award and become eligible for certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) by the State of California..
